Some people are blessings, some are lesson

Some people come into our lives as blessings, and some come as lessons. I don’t know what I mean to others or how others see me, but for me, there are a few people whom I feel so lucky to have met, even though I may not have been able to do anything good for them.

There are also people whom I wish I had never met. If I am ever the person someone wishes they had never crossed paths with, my sincere apologies go to them. Because, of course, there was a time when I was at my absolute worst. There was a time when I was selfish and didn’t know how to distinguish between what was right and what was wrong.

As I grow older and the days pass like any other ordinary days, I find myself wishing to do good for people, be kind to them, be helpful, and, at the very least, be harmless. I get hurt, I gossip, and I say bad things sometimes, but at the end of the day, I genuinely wish everyone well.

Sometimes, I introspect and realize that I have talked too much, especially about someone, and I instantly regret it. On the other hand, I console myself by thinking that I only said what was true, that I spoke about how their behaviour had hurt me, and that perhaps I simply didn’t have the courage to confront them directly because I prefer peace at any cost.

I know that gossiping is wrong, and I do it more than I should. Sometimes, I talk about others just so I can feel at ease. I am working on it, and I hope that one day I won’t need to talk about people anymore. I will still write about the things that hurt me, the things I feel are not right, the things I struggle to accept, and the things I know I need to change in myself.

The person I am today is far better than the person I used to be, and I am grateful for that. I have never reached a point where I feel that I am enough. I always feel the need to improve, change, and become better every single day.

If somebody criticizes me and they are somehow right about it, I may not accept it gladly, but I will definitely work on it.

Sometimes, I feel as though I have fallen into a deep abyss and that it is difficult to find my way back to the person I truly wish to be. I have promised myself countless times that I would do better, yet I have failed at many points in life. I have committed myself to being the best version of myself, only to somehow lose control at certain moments. I have told myself to communicate better, only to find myself speaking rudely.

Every night, as I lay my head on my pillow, thousands of thoughts come running through my mind. Sometimes, they drain me completely.

Nevertheless, at the end of the day, I am also just an individual trying to survive this difficult world. Trying to be better. Trying to be helpful. Trying to be kind in every possible way.

And perhaps that is enough for today.

Introspect yourself, but More Importantly, LOVE yourself.

How many embarrassing moments do you have in your life? Well, for me I have many. Some are quite depressing to even think about.  Have you always spoken your thoughts out to the people? It's a big No for me. If I have always spoken my thoughts out, I don't know whether I will be proud and happy of myself or maybe left out somewhere with no one around.  I have always suppressed my feelings, filtered the words that came out of my mouth and put on a smile to disguise everything so that I can fit in this society.  Have you ever regretted doing something and did it all over again?  I did it so many times and regretted every time. I don't know why but I am sure that's my unstable mind making the same wrong choice over and over again.  Does your mind replay the embarrassing moments again and again? My mind does it every time and I feel depressed and embarrassed every time I remember.  Have you bought something and wished you never bought that just so you could hav...

Leadership, Legacy, and Lessons: The Words of Bhutan’s Kings.

11.11 I am truly blessed to be born in Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Our country is not only rich in values and culture but also takes great pride in its natural heritage, with 69.71% of its land under forest cover—well above the constitutional requirement to maintain at least 60%. Bhutan is a peaceful nation, often referred to as the last Shangri-La, and above all, it is fortunate to be guided by benevolent and visionary leaders who embody the highest ideals. Our monarchs lead by example and inspire, motivate, encourage, and empower every Bhutanese. We, the people of Bhutan, are privileged to have selfless monarchs who have gone to the battlefield to protect their citizens and who have sacrificed personal comforts to serve the nation. Since the establishment of the monarchy in 1907, our kings have served with unparalleled dedication, compassion, empathy, love, care, and determination. This year, our Fourth Druk Gyalpo turns Seventy. When His Majesty described the Fourt...

Why gratitude matter and how it can change our life.

Things I am grateful for in life I am grateful for the beautiful motherhood that my son gave me. He always smiles at me and he understands me more than anyone would ever do. He gave me the reason I should be at my better version and the reason I should do the best. The energy he gives me and the motivation I see in my son make my life a lot better. I am grateful that I have him as my son and I will try my every best to give him the best life he deserves.  As a working mom, things would have been so difficult without the help of my mother. Taking the role of baby sitter to take care of my son. I am forever grateful for her for giving me this life and now I am even more grateful for her for taking care of my son.  Though it aches my heart for not being able to do anything grand for her. She stood beside me for any decision I make in my life, she was there cheering for every little success I have and she just feels happy to see me living, giving a whole lot of reasons that...
